In order to protect your privacy, we are committed to making our collection and use of your personal information open and transparent. This service privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “Privacy Policy”) aims to help you understand the information content collected by the Juiker application program, service or technology (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Juiker” services), the reason for collecting these information and how the information is used; please read this “Privacy Policy” carefully. We will revise this “Privacy Policy” on an irregular basis, but will not reduce the rights granted to you by this “Privacy Policy” without your consent; the latest version of the “Privacy Policy” will be published on the Juiker APP and the official website for you to read at any time.
I. Scope of the Privacy Policy
The scope of this Privacy Policy:
- The personal information provided to Juiker when using the Juiker application (hereinafter referred to as “Juiker”) and its related services (such as “enterprise account” and “JK@”).
- The personal information we collected and other personal information related to you provided by other users when you browse the official website of Juiker, or login to the enterprise management platform, or login to the JK@ management platform (hereinafter collectively referred to as “website”); the Juiker application, website, service or technology are hereinafter collectively referred to as “Juiker services”.
II. Collection, Processing and Utilization of Personal Information
1. Collection of personal information and its purpose
In order to provide excellent services, we will collect related information when you become a Juiker member or download and use related services of Juiker. These information can help us determine the basic settings (such as language settings). The types of information collected and their uses depend on how you use Juiker services and your privacy settings; these types of information include:
(1) The contents you created or provided to us
- Account information: When you register with Juiker, Juiker will ask you to provide your mobile phone number. Juiker will send a SMS or make a call to your mobile phone to verify your identity and prevent concerns of unauthorized usage and malicious uses etc. When your registration is completed, we will ask you whether you are willing to provide the contact information (such as mobile phone numbers, names and E-mail addresses etc.) on your device; after you have authorized and agreed, your contact information will be synchronized to the cloud address book of Juiker. You can also add other information to your personal account, such as personal photo, personal nickname setting and telecommunication plans etc.
- Message information: During the normal service period ,the system will store your chat history for approximately three months, including the messages, photos, videos, audio messages, files and shared locations etc in the chatroom, which allows you and other users to use them normally. Your information will also be saved in the storage database of your mobile device. In order to increase performance and transmit media messages more effectively, such as when many users share trending photos or videos, we might extend the saving time of these contents. If you use enterprise account services, your information will have different saving periods according to the contracts signed with enterprises.
- Customer service support: When you need customer service support or apply to join Juiker services, you might contact us through Juiker or the forms on the website; we would save the information you chose to provide, including mobile device or personal computer related information such as name, E-mail address, phone number, device type and operating system type etc. We will help you solve your problem and provide customer service based on the information you provided; the information you keep will also be managed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
(2) Types of information we collect when you use Juiker services
- Device information and connection information: In order to provide personalized services and regular performance optimization, we will collect information such as your device type, operating system type, IP address, browser information, language setting, device ID, Cookie or mobile application ID, access log and crash reports etc. when you use Juiker services.
- Location information: In order to provide you with convenience and improve user experiences, we use positioning technologies including IP, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi access points etc. to help provide geolocation information functions. When you agreed to use positioning service in Juiker, you can send your location in chatrooms and search for related information on nearby stores. If you chose not to agree with sending your geolocation information, we will not receive your geolocation information.
- Cookies: In order to improve your user experiences, we use Cookie to let websites operate normally and provide more convenient usage methods. For example, we use Cookie to understand who visited our websites and which Juiker service items that they were most interested in, which helps us optimize our services. In addition, we might use Cookie to remember your preferences (such as language) and to provide safer experiences and service qualities. We used Google Analytics Cookies in our website. Most web browsers will ask you whether to agree using Cookies; if you disagree or clear or restrict the use of Cookie, you might not receive full performance of the website, which will further affect your user experience.
- Payment information: If you need to purchase related services (such as JK@) on the website and make online payment, we might use third-party service providers to collect and process your credit card information; once related payment processes have been processed, Juiker will not keep your credit card information. Your credit card payment will be processed by third-party payment agencies.
When you use related services of Juiker with an enterprise account, in addition to the information previously described, Juiker will also capture contact numbers and the calling time and provide them to enterprises to perform usage analysis and accounting.
Your consent of the personal information described above is acquired when you download Juiker. If you do not agree to the personal information described above, do not continue using Juiker services.
You can withdraw your consent described above at any time; if you plan to withdraw your consent described above in the future, please use “Feedback” in the “More” menu to notify Juiker; Juiker will not be able to provide this service anymore, so please be advised!
2. Processing and utilization of personal information
Juiker will use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy:
(1) Development and service optimization
- Use of Juiker services on different devices; for example, when you login to the APP and the PC version with the same account, information content (chatroom messages and profile picture etc.) you created can be used in sync.
- Help us develop, deliver and improve our products, services, contents and advertisements.
- Used to optimize anonymous statistics, analyses and researches of services etc.
- Notify you about the latest products, services and news related to Juiker.
- Send important notifications, such as related major news or notifications of changes in Terms of Use or policies.
- Effectively replying to the support and issues you requested through customer service feedback.
(2) Maintain service security
- Used to verify your identity; for example, sending SMS to the mobile phone number you provided to confirm your identity when registering or deleting account
- Monitor and prevent inappropriate use of services; for example, notifying you when we discovered that your account has been used without authorization or accessed improperly.
3. Information processing and transmission
In order to guarantee the safety of your personal information, Juiker has continuously passed ISO 27001 certification since 2015, and used secure encryption technology with strict safety standards to prevent unauthorized accessing, leaking, abusing and deleting of personal information. In order to provide reliable and secure services, the processing, saving and transmitting of Juiker information are all done on servers that meet information security specifications. For example, information is saved on domestic servers, and they need to comply with the information security specifications prescribed by government agencies.
When you use Juiker services, you agree that we will process, share, transmit and use your information in accordance with the content described in this Privacy Policy. No matter which country/region you live in, you authorize us to transmit, process, save, use your information and provide services to you outside the country/region you reside. Some countries/regions may have different levels of information protection than the country/region where you live. By using Juiker services, you agree for us to transmit information related to you in global regions.
Reminder: Do not share your password with other people; if there were any unauthorized usage of your account or any other unsafe behaviors, please write to our customer service E-mail at service@juiker.tw to notify us.
4. Modifying personal information
When you use Juiker services, you can modify personal information at any time, such as your display name and personal profile picture etc.; however, you may not impersonate others or use the names of other people. Users who use enterprise account services, your displayed name, company name, company extension phone number, E-mail and job title etc. are assigned by your enterprise. Your enterprise will assign administrators to manage and edit your enterprise account information and it will not be modified by Juiker.
5. Deleting personal information
You can request to delete your Juiker account and personal information at any time; after you have requested to delete your account and personal information, we will contact you to verify your identity. After verification is completed, we will activate the delete account procedure; the purpose is to remove the information from the server safely and completely. It usually requires 7 working days starting from the day the delete account procedure was activated.
We will prolong the saving of some information based on the reasonable needs for the following purposes:
- To ensure security, prevent fraud, abuse and other illegal behaviors;
- To follow laws or regulations;
- To provide customers with support services; for example, information you sent to us, which helped to solve your problems.
- To ensure continual operation of Juiker services; for example, after you deleted your account, information that you shared with others on Juiker, including conversations and files etc., will continue to be saved on our system so that the person you shared with can still access the information.
The information of enterprise accounts is managed and backed up by enterprises; the retention period of the information depends on the contract period of the enterprises .
6. Exporting personal account information
You can go to “Account Management” in the APP to request for exporting of reports; account information does not include message contents. The report will be completed within 7 days and you can export it within the valid period. You can search for related information from Account ID in the FAQ.
7. You can claim the following rights regarding the use and retention of personal information by Juiker services in writing:
- Query or request for reviewing
- Request for a copy.
- Request for addition or correction.
- Request to stop collection, processing and utilization.
- Request for deletion.
- Request to transfer your account information in Juiker to third parties.
In order to protect your information safely, we will activate the application process after verifying your identity; generally speaking, we need 7 working days to process your application and reply to you.
If you no longer plan to use the services or do not agree to Juiker collecting and using your personal information, you may refer to “5. Deleting personal information” to perform application.
If you apply to exercise your rights through the customer service E-mail, such as querying or requesting for reviewing or request for a copy etc., we may charge you based on the administrative costs derived from the application (the fee will be determined according to a process defined separately).
Based on legitimacy purposes, we might not be able to respond to your request under the following special circumstances:
- We were unable to verify your identity when you requested to disclose information;
- The information disclosed might be illegal;
- The information disclosed hinders important interests of third-parties.
III. Disclosure of Personal Information
- When the information was shared by you proactively:
- Juiker has many functions that can share information with others; you can decide the sharing method. For example, the personal information, texts, images, links and multimedia files etc. you shared in group chatrooms may be forwarded or used by other people.
- When the information was shared by Juiker:
Except for the situations described below, we will not share your personal information with other companies, agencies or individuals besides Juiker:
- Sought your consent in advance
- Once we have acquired your consent, Juiker can use the information of your account activities, including but not limited to detailed information such as traffic information and communication information. You can withdraw your consent at any time. However, if you use Juiker with Juiker enterprise account, you should agree for Juiker to provide the chat history under the enterprise account to your enterprise, and you may not withdraw your consent.
- In order to provide you with the Juiker products or services you requested, Juiker will share your personal information and traffic information (such as JK@) with Juiker’s affiliate companies or partners according to actual situations; Juiker will demand that the affiliate companies or partners comply with related laws and information security regulations to protect your personal information. However, Juiker will not assume legal responsibilities for the actions of affiliated companies or partners.
- Based on legal reasons
- Juiker will disclose your personal information in accordance with the law, in order to claim rights or defend against any allegations, to protect the interests of Juiker, to combat fraud, to enforce our policies, to protect the legal rights and properties of third-parties or for security reasons.
IV. Application Program
When you access other additional functions, plugins, or third-party application programs (hereinafter abbreviated as “application programs”) via Juiker service, the providers of these application programs might acquire some of your personal information. Juiker will not and is unable to control how these application program providers use your personal information. Therefore, please read the Privacy Policy or Terms of Use of these application programs before installing.
V. Contact
- Juiker will ask you to provide information related to user experience from time to time; these information will be used to measure and improve qualities. You are not obligated to provide the information described above at any time.
- The information sent proactively through the feedback forms or surveys of the Juiker will be used to review feedback and improve Juiker services.
- Juiker might contact you and send related messages to solve malfunctions and service issues. Juiker might send notification through the APP or SMS to allow you to learn more about service announcements, management messages and final claim information of Juiker services, including but not limited to infringement claims for violating the rights of third-parties. You cannot choose not to accept the messages described above.
- Juiker might update you with the latest news of Juiker’s free or paid services or other Juiker products through the APP or SMS. Please let us know if you are unwilling to accept the messages described above.
- If you registered or used co-branded services or products of Juiker, the E-mails or SMS you receive may have been sent by our partners on behalf of Juiker.
